Dulcop America – A Marketing MakeoverMarketing and Management Contract
Problem – A leading Bubble and Toy company in Italy needed to understand the U.S. market before entry.
MI’s Solution –Through market studies and research, we showed that the company’s branding needed to change. This resulted in a complete overhaul of the company’s:
- Logo
- Product labels & packaging
- Websites
- Social Media plan & execution
Deep Dive – We ran focus groups and worked with industry-specific professionals to ensure the products would meet the expectations and tastes of the target U.S. markets. After creating two new brands – one for kids and one for adults – Dulcop launched its U.S. bubbles. Sales started as we attended trade shows, set-up a network of independent sales reps to reach specialty and national retail accounts, and established direct to consumer sales through Amazon.
Dulcop then took what it had learned through the process, and applied it to its global operations. It currently uses the Bubble World brand image that MI helped develop across all its products.
Through the marketing and management contract, our staff served as their CEO, Director of Marketing & Operations, Accounting Manager, Social Media Manager, and Administrative Assistant. From developing and implementing their marketing plans to monitoring inventory and making pricing adjustments, and from creating and maintaining the budget to logistics tracking and warehouse oversight, our management team did it all with approval from the Italian parent company.
