Scale Your U.S. Subsidiary Safely, Predictably, & Without Draining Your Capital
For over 20 years, Management inSites has helped foreign companies set up and manage their U.S. businesses. Our International Business Incubator (IBI) program solves a common challenge for international businesses entering the U.S. market: setting up compliant local operations without the high cost of hiring full-time staff too early.
We act as your local U.S. back-office team, complete with department-level execution staff and middle management leaders. Our team handles the administrative tasks to ensure your U.S. company minimizes expansion risks, meets U.S. regulations, and can operationally scale as you grow.
Our mission is simple. We help protect your U.S. market entry so you can confidently build revenue, graduate from our incubator program, and seamlessly transition to full operational independence.
Common Challenges When Entering the U.S. Market
Your choice of operating model directly influences your success and dictates the true cost of entering the U.S. market. Many foreign small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggle with two common approaches:
The Shared Corporate Infrastructure Model
The International Business Incubator (IBI) program offers a smarter, proven way to expand. We provide your U.S. subsidiary with a flexible, fully integrated, and fractional workforce composed of junior and senior-level experts across corporate finance, order processing and fulfillment, human resources, and daily business administration.
You gain the operational capabilities of an established U.S. headquarters for a reduced cost, and the ability to scale your U.S. back-office resources as your revenue grows. Key advantages include:
- Lower Overhead Costs: You avoid full-time salaries and benefits by paying only for the U.S. back-office support you actually need.
- Reduced Legal & Regulatory Risks: As the saying goes, “you don’t know what you don’t know.” Because our team helps foreign companies enter the U.S. market every day, we protect you from costly compliance mistakes and fines using our established processes and systems.
- Accelerated Speed-to-Market: Reach operational readiness in weeks rather than taking months to navigate banking, insurance, payroll, and more on your own.
Our Proven 3-Phase Roadmap to Independence
The International Business Incubator (IBI) program grows with your business across three structured phases, helping you move from company formation to complete independence:
Phase 1: U.S. Subsidiary Setup (2-6 Months)
We help you establish a legally compliant and operational U.S. business entity. Management inSites senior leaders act as your local project managers to ensure you are ready to process, fulfill, and collect money for your first U.S. orders.
This includes working with your lawyer and CPA on entity establishment and corporate documents, establishing your U.S. bank account and setting up the treasury management system, putting corporate insurance policies in place, assessing and implementing initial IT and software, creating compliant U.S. HR documents, receiving initial inventory, and establishing keep internal processes.
Phase 2: Day-to-Day U.S. Subsidiary Operations (1+ Years)
This is the true heart of our International Business Incubator (IBI) service. We provide a flexible, outsourced U.S. back-office team to manage daily business tasks.
Instead of hiring local staff immediately, you gain an integrated execution team managed by Management inSites. Costs are adjusted quarterly based on your actual workload, keeping your expenses predictable. Our core service offerings under Phase 2 include:
- Admin & HR Management: We handle the day-to-day paperwork and employment tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
- Order Processing & Customer Support: We manage customer orders and inquiries under your brand name and place intracompany orders.
- Integrated Warehousing: We store and ship products directly from our regional logistics hub to reach your U.S. customers faster.
- Full-service Accounting: We maintain accurate, real-time financial records for full visibility and smarter decision-making.
- Marketing Support: We format, adapt, and prepare marketing materials to equip your sales team for U.S. success.
Phase 3: Graduation & Complete Operational Autonomy
When your U.S. sales grow enough to support full-time employees, we manage a structured handover. We document all your standard operating procedures (SOPs), assist in recruiting and onboarding your permanent U.S. team, and transfer all system access and documents directly to you.

Take Our Organizational AuditFrequently Asked Questions: The International Business Incubator (IBI) Program
What types of companies benefit the most from the International Business Incubator (IBI) program model?
Our incubator was originally created to support the creation of U.S. marketing and sales offices for European capital equipment manufacturers. However, we have proven that this shared-infrastructure model is an effective framework for almost any foreign SME.
Today, we support B2B and B2C companies across many sectors — including industrial machinery, medical devices, consumer goods, industrial parts, and software-as-a-service (SaaS). The core operational and compliance requirements in the U.S. are similar across industries.
Can our U.S. subsidiary grow sales using only the International Business Incubator (IBI) program?
No. The program provides back-office operations, but it does not generate sales on its own. To build sales momentum, we recommend hiring a dedicated U.S. sales professional with experience in your specific industry. For machinery companies, you may also need a field technician for equipment service.
Our separate Fractional U.S. Management services can help manage and guide your local sales team.
Are we required to start Phase 2 immediately after completing Phase 1?
No. Phase 1 is a standalone project designed to bring your U.S. subsidiary to operational readiness. Once complete, you can hire your own team to run the newly formed entity.
Alternatively, if your commercial timeline shifts, your product launch is delayed, or your initial domestic footprint is purely virtual, you can move into our Soft Landing Program instead. This virtual office solution allows you to maintain a U.S. business address and phone line without activating full back-office services.
How are the fees for the International Business Incubator (IBI) program structured?
Phase 1 (Entity Establishment) is a fixed project cost. Phase 2 (Day-to-Day Operations) is a predictable, fixed monthly fee based on the services you use, avoiding unpredictable hourly billing.
We conduct quarterly reviews to ensure your monthly fee stays fair and aligned with the workload volume.
Will our American customers or competitors know that Management inSites manages our back-office?
No. The International Business Incubator (IBI) program operates as a white-label extension of your brand.
Our team uses your U.S. company email addresses and answers your dedicated corporate phone line using your company’s name.
Your domestic distributors and customers experience a seamless organization without ever knowing that MI exists. We think, act, and execute as your dedicated internal team.
What is included in the basic marketing support under the International Business Incubator (IBI) program?
Basic support includes administrative tasks, such as formatting business cards, modifying product flyers, and managing trade show logistics.
It does not include brand strategy and proactive market positioning or digital lead generation. However, we can provide either of these through optional services. Review our U.S. Market Entry Strategy and our Branding & Digital Marketing Suite of services if you need additional support or a more aggressive commercial launch.
Do we have to lease office or warehouse space from Management inSites to participate in the International Business Incubator (IBI) program?
No. As a benefit of participating in the incubator program, your entity is automatically authorized to use our facility in North Carolina or South Carolina as your official U.S. corporate headquarters address. You also get access to our conference rooms and temporary desk spaces when your team visits the U.S.
If you want your own dedicated space within our Charlotte headquarters, see our Flexible Workspace Solutions page. Likewise, if you plan to integrate your order processing with our warehouse, learn more on our Warehousing & Fulfillment page.
Does Management inSites require that our U.S. subsidiary use specific software or vendors?
We strongly recommend our vetted network of U.S. service providers and software. Because our team are already experts in our recommended software, it minimizes execution risks and lowers costs to use them.
However, if you already have trusted providers or if your global IT policy mandates specific software, we can adapt our processes to work with your tools, though there may be added costs.
