A huge congratulations are in order for one of our own, Jason Patterson.

Jason, a key member of our warehouse team, has just been named to the board of the Uplift Outreach Center, where he’ll serve as a Fundraising Chair.

The Uplift Outreach Center is a vital drop-in center in Spartanburg, SC, providing a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. Since opening its doors in 2019, it has served hundreds in the community and has ambitious plans to expand that reach even further—a mission Jason will now help lead.

Stepping into a role like this takes a major commitment of time and talent, and honestly, we’re not surprised Jason took on the challenge. One of our core values is to “assist our community,” and this is what that looks like in action.

But it’s more than just a single value. At MI, we believe that leadership and initiative aren’t defined by a job title. Jason’s dedication—both to ensuring our clients’ success from the warehouse floor and to his new role with Uplift—is a perfect example of the character we’re proud to have on our team.
