Katia Fernandez is a Client Accountant at Management inSites, where she handles a comprehensive range of critical financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, collections, payroll, and account reconciliations.

Prior to relocating to the United States, Katia developed extensive expertise in international public accounting, holding roles with industry leaders such as PwC and Deloitte, as well as serving in government auditing. Throughout her career, she has conducted rigorous financial and compliance audits, evaluated internal controls, and assessed financial risks. Her deep understanding of regulatory compliance and accounting standards has consistently helped organizations strengthen their financial accountability, improve operational processes, and make sound, data-driven decisions.

Since moving to the U.S., Katia has proactively expanded her skill set, earning the Intuit Bookkeeping Professional Certificate and becoming a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. This continuous learning, combined with her Master’s Degree in Tax Legislation from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, allows her to seamlessly bridge her global perspective with localized U.S. accounting practices.
