MI’s End of Summer Party

As the summer sun began to fade, the team at Management inSites decided to send it off in style with a riverside celebration. We sent out a fun e-vite to our clients and employees, and the day unfolded into an unforgettable gathering of great company and easygoing fun.

The weather was perfect, the kind of September afternoon you dream of. Ryan Doberstein hosted the event by the scenic Catawba River, where water adventures, delicious food, and a little music set the stage for an afternoon of connection.

No celebration is complete without good food, and our taco spread hit the mark after everyone had enjoyed the river. With a feast of savory and refreshing dishes, we made sure no one went hungry as we soaked in the atmosphere.

Of course, the highlight was the water fun. Ryan, a former professional jetski rider, showed off his championship moves, and even his three-year-old son Brock impressed us with his own skills. But it wasn’t just Ryan who showed off some impressive skills—our CEO, Daniel Andrepont, caught some serious airtime on his wakeboard (check out the photo in the gallery!), while our COO, Melissa Ratliff, had a blast giving it a go too.

Meanwhile, the kids had a great time tubing, and the adults enjoyed a relaxing boat ride with a gorgeous sunset backdrop. The river was the perfect place for everyone to unwind, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. We were especially happy to have some of our clients join us, making the day even more meaningful. Their presence deepened our connection and turned the casual gathering into a moment to strengthen relationships.

As the day wound down, we gathered around the bonfire under a starry sky, roasting marshmallows and enjoying s’mores. The night continued with laughter and good conversation, reminding us of the importance of taking time to enjoy each other’s company.

A big thank you to Ryan for opening his home and sharing his passion for watersports with the MI family and our clients. This end-of-summer celebration was a beautiful reminder of the connections that bind us together—and how important it is to step outside the office and take the time to connect.
